SubOptic is the triennial industry-renowned submarine telecoms conference. It is the longest running and most comprehensive conference series in the world for the submarine cable industry.
The SUBMERSE project (SUBMarinE cables for ReSearch and Exploration) utilises existing submarine cables, already used by the research and education networking community, to monitor the Earth and its systems. Over the past two years, our project team has made significant progress in generating valuable data for seismology, oceanography, and marine biology.
